LIZZY BORDEN’s latest release “Appointment with Death” is proof that after nearly 25 years of rocking, Lizzy’s still got more chops to deliver. This L.A based quartet has put together 11 tracks of horror themed power metal that sounds current enough to appeal to a new generation of listeners, while still pleasing to their diehard fans.
The always theatrical Lizzy has added the face of Death to their look, revamping the band to appear undead. The entire album is themed around Death, and they’ve enlisted quite an impressive roster of guests musicians who lend their talents to the already well written songs. Performing solos on select tracks are George Lynch , Dave Meniketti of Y&T, Cory Baeulieu of TRIVIUM, and Eric Rutan of HATE ETERNAL (who also mixed the CD giving it an extra heavy guitar sound).
