TERMINATRYX, the South African industrial duo of Paul Blom and Sonja Ruppersberg, have released their live performance at the 2006 HORRORFEST International Film Festival on DVD. Their dark vampiric lyrics and bio-mechanical sound were accompanied by the wonderfully wicked imagery of the 1922 silent film NOSFERATU. Blending industrial soundscapes with ominous vocal moods, TERMINATRYX also includes instrumentation from upright bass, woodwinds, to live percussion samples, sound FX, electric violin and metal guitars.
The entire 2-hour DVD package contains music videos, live clips, biogs, photo galleries and the short film imPERFECTION (made by the band and featuring their music). For more info on the band go to www.TERMINATRYX.com or www.MySpace.com/terminatryxxx, and check out the TERMINATRYX / NOSFERATU DVD here.
